The Port of Barcelona is nowadays considered as the main port all over Spain. It is a very old port that historically has developed to renew and become today a very important hub both for both commerce and turism. The port is divided into 3 areas, the oldest is the "Poer Vell", located at the Barceloneta, a fishman district, where nowadays is set also a big Shopping center. The port is located not far from the most famous sites of barcelona, such as the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlò, Parc Guell and the Ramblas. The Italian ferry companies Grimaldi and Grandi Navi Veloci link Barcelona to Italy and Tangeri.
